Yamaha YZF R15 Specification:

* Liquid-Cooled 4 Stroke Engine: A newly developed 150cc liquid cooled 4-stroke single cylinder fuel injected engine

* DiASil Cylinder: The R-15 engine is equipped with a DiASil Cylinder, an all-aluminum sleeve-less cylinder.

* Forged Piston: The R-15 uses a forged aluminum piston which is lightweight and hard. This kind of piston is used on large displacement engines.

* Fuel Injection (FI) System: The R-15 uses FI which ensure fuel efficiency and environmental friendliness

* Six Speed Transmission: This gives you a truly sporty ride

* Air Induction System and Catalytic Converter: The R-15 is equipped with an Air Induction System that burns residual gases in the exhaust which helps in reduction of Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Hydro-Carbons emissions. The muffler is equipped with a honeycomb catalytic converter made of platinum and rhodium supported on stainless steel foil, which along with the FI system creates a great synergy and results in cleaner emissions that comply with the future Bharat Stage – IV emission norms.

* DeltaBox Frame: DeltaBox Frame based on Yamaha’s MotoGP experience forms the basis for riding comfort and handling experience.

* Linked Motocross Suspension (Multi-cylinder type): It delivers a comfortable ride and a cushioning performance that is less prone to bottoming out.

* Front fork with 33mm Inner Tube: For better performance and cushioning even when it bottoms out.

* 17″ Cast Front & Rear wheels: R-15 is equipped with 17″ cast wheels on both front and back. It also comes with soft compound tubeless tires which prevent sudden flattening of tires if a puncture happens. The dimensions for the front and the rear tires are: 80/90-17 and 100/80-17

* Front and Rear Disc Breaks: The R-15 is equipped with standard caliper disk brakes which give better breaking performance and an improved controllability.

* Front Headlights: The YZF-R15 is equipped with multi-reflective dual head lamps that symbolizes it’s R series heritage.
