Honda RC212V was developed for road racing bike race in the 800 cc (49 cu in) the MotoGP series. Officially introduced on October 30, 2006 as a replacement for the RC211V MotoGP series, was developed by Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) throughout 2006 and officially began racing in the 2007 season.
Repsol Honda team at this time reinforced by Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa and Andrea ovizioso where recorded Stoner as MotoGP standings leader 2011/2012.
